Jubilee had 11 players - no subs and players out of position all over the shop!
well done westwood, worked hard Foggy dont want to hear about your fitness until you get ya butt in the gym and work hard, surely that bubbe has burst now what do you think nipaldo?

Harbs, totally agree with you in terms of my fitness and not going to make any excuses and as you are finding out very hard to come back from an injury and especially a serious one!! and I should have scored but did lay on a few chances for others. Commitment got me through alone! :sad:
As for yesterday we did not play well but we had enough chances to win 2 games let alone 1!! What I will say is that something wrong when you run by someone to make a tackle and then go by them the other way chasing and they have not moved!! You know who I am on about harbs!!
Very disappointing result and well done Westwood. Hope players who did not turn up feel ashamed. Still in our hands though and hopefully westwood/netheron cut each others throat!!!

looked that way to me foggy, when jamie got a late goal westwood still look comfy to me.
and yes you are still fav's to win the league, you had randell on the bench and sam on the line injured players i know but thats how sunday footy goes.
randell well done v fletton bud a top game for which im pleased about.
even if it did cost you playing sunday for the jub.

have to congratulate the westwood on a good result . makes the next few weeks intresting shall i say . nipper what was that song u were singing a few weeks ago ? something about cheerio ?..... on a serious note good luck to both jube and westwood , makes a good end part to the season this hey . who said sunday mornin is dead? 3 teams can win the title . quality stuff .
may i say what a pleasure it was to help out the managerial genious of rabbit yesterday . what a result against some arrogant youngsters from northampton . we will have to be at out best for the final as i hear the team we have won 7-5 . sounds like goals all season . should be 0-0 after extra time now then .
Looking at the league table it's actually 4 teams in the running. Yaxley Horshoes have only lost two and have to play Netherton once, Lord Westwood once and JNE twice (at the end of the season) Good stuff, which of the oak players have signed for who ? Can they make a difference ? makes it really interesting. JNE still favourites, they have to play Netherton just the once, Westwood have Netherton twice, first one this Sunday I think, wish I could watch it.Best of luck to all involved hope it is a close finish.

The odds are stacked against you with regards to Reg mate...2 games=2 dodgy pens :mad: ....but think everyone has there own opinions about the refs so leave it as that.....could be here a v. long time. :slp:
Simple fact is we have 5 games and if we win all 5 the league is ours. :clap2: (please correct me if im wrong) Sounds simple enough hey but anyhting can happen.Last Sunday was a prime example.
Its good to see it going down to the wire though.

The Prem looks like JNE have 5 games left but even if they win em all Netherton can overtake them by winning their 6 games left ... I think!!!
Plus L Westwood and Yaxley can draw level by winning their 6 games also - not so clear cut really... brilliant for the nuetral.

As for league, we win all our games we win the league simple as! we play netherton and we can not both win all of our games!! As I said before neth vs w/wood twice and both have to win them so a tall order for them if to catch us. We will not worry about that and will just be concentrating on ourselves and doing what we have done all season bar Sunday and beating teams!! This week shakie expects to see a result and with a few players back we should do!!
Then roll on Netherton who we owe on to after letting them back into the game in the cup!!

And no I'm not taking bets as I know little about the fixtures and the teams involved - just my observation from looking at the table as is.
Loads of cup games coming up for everyone - best of luck lads.
people keep banging on about all the refs favoring netherton but has anyone actually wondered why they dont seem to "have it in for them" ? maybe it should go to show us all that if you dont get on the refs back all the time then the favor will be returned. netherton by far the most sporting of sunday teams and this reflects how they are treat by refs.
lesson there for us all i think!

gotta go with that to some degree!
I've watched Netherton and we played against their Res side pre-season and we really enjoyed it, the ref had little to do and I'm sure thats why some of the more 'committed' teams would think refs go easy on them?
Saying that, our side has recently been on the wrong end of some appaling decisions from refs and perhaps it's the standards we have available and willing to turn up on a Sunday that effects this too? :soo:
common jb thats got nothing to do with it.
matt so you know i dont really care if the refs do or dont like you at the end of the day its bad luck for us (jne) to conceed the pens but its happened. im just pulling your hair about the whole thing at the end of the day it will all be forgotton if we have the bottle to win the league.
if westwood continue to field a side as strong as they did at the weekend i would put them as joint favorites also.
league is very interesting now. defo the most fun in football i have had for a few years.
the saturday sides dont get tarred with the same brush as the sunday sides that refs favour them. i dont think its a netherton thing. as i said before i think its a reflection on how ron gets his players to conduct themselves on the pitch which is gonna stop the refs giving them a hard time back. i know this from 1st hand experience of playing under ron.
at the end of the day you reap what you sow.
