how do people think this one will go? after being at both clubs within the last year(shocking i know!) i really do think this one will be too close to call!
will stick my neck out and go for psl to shade it maybe in extra time. purely down to the fact psl should have the same team out that they've had over there previous games(especially one player who is too good for the peterborough league but due to being in the RAF hasn't been available until recently-not gonna say anymore and spoil biffa's plans!) whereas netherton may need to juggle things about due to recent reserve players being cup-tied. netherton do have the resources of their A team to call upon though and they have been in fantastic form and top scorer eric (salion diallo) i hear is back so he could win/lose the game on his own so who knows :soo:
i'd say 2-2 (4-2 psl AET)

Well JB, having played against both of them this season i would definetly go with PSL and biffa's side. If he can get the side out that played us at there place they will beat Netherton not a problem. The side they had at there place against us was the best side we have played this year. If Netherton play the side we beat at there place then the lack of pace at the back with wreck there chances and PSL's midfield should out battle Netheron's. I would have thought it would be a good game but my money would be with PSL and GOOD LUCK BIFFA........

God , didn't realise that this was a "HIGH PROFILE" game, but thanks anyway JB.
Those who know me well , will know that i'm not predicting a result as i think it will be to close to call !!! also i have a lot of time for Pino, and i'm not into disrespecting other managers ( except LANGTOFT, eh aiden ) !!!!
I'm looking forward to it and so are the lads, as our season was over after the first 6 games of the season.I personally feel my guys will give thier all on saturday and i know that they ALL want this so bad , that they will give Netherton a real game ( Rather than those 2 awful :mnn: whipping games on the trot )
We have a keeper rather than outfield players volunteering to help me out !!! that allways helps !!!

If you say that when you played us at home and we were the best side you have played ( i'm gratefull , cuz i played all game ) i appreciate your comment, cuz 2 weeks ago , we were 2 nil up .. with a bare 11....centre half who got out of bed wiv flu to help me out.... i had been :puke: my guts up all night and morning , makeshift forward line, due to injurys and again ... bloddy illness and still we gave you a good run for ya money !!!! i really do wish you and ya lads ( apart aiden) :lol: :lol: :lol: the best of luck winning the league !!!

well with any luck there will be about 10 mins of rain this week so our game gets called off due to the pitch not being able to get marked out then i can come and watch the game! :lol:

i would just like to say good luck to both teams, and we look forward to playing the winners in the final!
My comment were not meant to slate Netherton in anyway but was a personal opionion based on playing both teams and if BIFFA has the team out thet faced us (and lost 1-0) at his place then i feel they will be to strong for the Netherton team we faced and beat at there place.
Biffa no need to apologies, the ref was shocking and i understand the frustration it gets to us all at times. We have had him a couple of times and he doesn't get any better.......
Well like JB it would have been nice to come and watch this game but unfortunetly i'm away this weekend.....But best of luck to both times but give us a goal BIFFA and i'll come and i'll come and watch ya in the final, maybe bring the League title medal with me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if psl can talk to each other and all pull the strings for the same reason they will win.if the same attitude shows up as last saturday im afraid not.already players communicating amonst themselves and not between management and players.looks like the same old story get so close only to throw it all away
Well lets hope that PSL all get behind BIFFA, like every manager in every league i'm sure he puts the hard work in, just need the players to give him a little pay back hey....

arfur the players in question give there all for biffa every week you aint got a clue mate as to whats being said.its not the players but where you play them how the team lines up and there attitude on the day that will win it.communication to acheive this goal would help thats all

But i agree, if we put in the 1st half performance of last week, we won't do ourselves any justice.however the 2nd half performance show's we ALL have the ability to get somthing out of this cup tie ... i personally have done nuffin this season to get us to the semi final .. it is YOU and your teammates which have done that !! bear that in mind..

Thanks Biffa. i would like to congratulate Gedney Hill on making it a tight game. in fairness we did not play well, but they say you only play as well as the opposition lets you! They did themselves proud and i would like to wish them the best for the rest of the season.
We are in the county cup semi final this Saturday, so another big game, and we are without Micky Graham who has a torn muscle, an i expect a difficult game.

Langtoft, apprently we have played deeping sports this season in our cup run and we made them look quite ordinary, with no goalkeeper and ran out 3-2 winners. so there is hope for you and ure crew next season !!
As for your wide eyed observation , :wow: , YES we did get slightly spanked , but again we did that with no goalkeeper and no where near the team i have now.( and also did'nt help having 2 lads walk off the pitch in a sulk ) !!
as i said earlier, there are no under dogs in this game .. it will be a evenly matched game, and good luck to both teams.

alright biffa mate...things at farcet are starting to look up, in respect of whats been happening, as you na seb has joined me and brought in some new players, and has taken over the main managing of the team for rest of this season allowing myself to get other things at the club sorted. I am still involved on saturdays but more so as a player ( just for rest of this season ).
As for us old un's still scoring, have to show some of these younger one's how its done ( s**t that makes us sound really old ) :lol:
Too many playerd were taking the P**S and letting me down ( hence our poor season ), but with sebs arrival, the new players and some more to come for next season, we will be there or there abouts.
Glad to see things on the up for you mate and once you have made it through to the final drop me a line with the date so we can come support you.

ref was awful yes he ruined it a bitthink he booked 8 and his linesman equally as bad might as well had own officials woulds of reffed it better!!

i love it ...... great win for a reserves yesterday . is it true jb that the teams u left r now in 2 finals ? . be hard to win both i think but will give it a go
its very true but got a difficult semi in the SENIOR :lol: cup with one team i went to against a team from our own league so got a good chance of making the final in that.
as for sats i'm gonna get the same as netherton sat 1sts who i started this season with-NOTHING :lol: so no difference there. and just help the team build for next season.
so all in all not really missed out on much and most of all im very happy with my football since i totally left netherton and playing my best football in about 6 years(coincedence :soo: ). being back with people i spent my best years with helps.
unlucky biffa you boys cost me a tenner you c***s! was told that if you'd started you'd have probably won(how many more times do people have to tell you this before you start playing yourself more regularly?!)
good luck netherton would be nice to see you finish the job I started with a hat-trick away at crowland in the cup(couldn't resist adding that) and of course the sunday ressies and sunday 1sts as you are still in the hunt for the hereward cup. i do think you'll find deeping athletic a very tough semi and i'll wildly predict deeping athletic to do a sunday cup double!(and yes i'm still involved in one of them with scarletts!)
whatever happens i'll deffo be there to lend my good friends at netherton support in their respective finals.

i think you'll find i said both cups and we are in the semi at scarletts in the other one so i'm even going against my own team too.
only predicting it due to the team deeping get available for their cup games which can probably be the best squad in the psmfl due to the players they have.
anyway thats another thread totally for the sunday morning section.
lets hope you boys can exact revenge in the final on perkins after knocking you out of the nhants cup!

Crowlands Guvnor, i have spoken to my assistant (and goalkeeper) Clarkey who assures me that there was no contact on either occasion. it would have made it even more interesting if one had been given, but i for one did not need any more heart stopping moments, my own team were doing their best to give me a heart attack. Once again thanks for a good game, but what the hell happened on saturday?
J.B Not a chance mate. My boys won their semi final in the county cup on Saturday (2 -0 away to Kislingbury) and are now full steam ahead to win both finals, although it will ba a good game as the 5 - 1 victory was slightly flattering!!

To his credit biffa ai'nt a small bloke and he was struggling to hold the defender from lumping the linesman !!

We had 8 regulars missing on Saturday and still managed to spank Gedney on an awful pitch this week we have most of them back and I have a selection problem!
Should be a good game we have a lot of respect for your lot will be a very different game to the one earlier this season.
I'm sure Shama will want to continue his current form against us.

so the result aint gonna stand ... :soo: mind you , it might help you on your quest langtoft, depends on how the results went with the chasing teams against um ... we lose a 1 point as we drew 2-2... no big losses there .....

Biffa, unlucky on the semi mate sounds from the messages on here the ref and linesman ruined the game but well done to Netherton.
Yes herad yesterday that Gedney may be pulling out, shame that will be six points we lose where most top lot lose 3 points as only played them once so not good for us but having had a look at league and removed the Gedney results for top 5 still means 4 wins from 6 for us to wrap up the title so still in our hands to throw away which is the main thing we can't ask for anymore than that.......
But alot of tough games to go including Crowland on sat who seem to be in great form which bodes well for a good game, shame i miss it....
