View Full Version : PREDICTIONS 10th Feb
Been a while since we last had a post on the old prediction so...
2 BIG games stand out this weekend with PSL and Moulton both up against two improved teams chasing the leaders in Perkins and Alconbury.Could be a slight indication for the Semi Final Cup games to follow between all four teams??
Would be a great result for the league in general if both Perkins and Alconbury could pull off wins to really make the league run in interesting!!

Long Sutton Athletic v Hampton Athletic 2-1
Moulton Harrox v Alconbury 1-1
Peterborough Sports v Perkins Sports 2-2
Stamford Belvedere v Parson Drove 2-1
Uppingham Town v Oundle Town 2-1
Whittlesey United v Pinchbeck 4-0

Fatty leftley ! if you want some one fat up front have our boss
make sure st johns ambulance are there and that they have a reinforced stretcher and an oxygen tank !
Ignore the last remark from fatty leftly red card, you would have thought with me signing a new star striker this week he would be licking my arse but obviously not  You are welcome to either Leftly or Favell if you want them for scoring goals because you will not only be out there all fcuking night you will be out there all fcuking weekend
If our end of season do was based on the oscars they would both be up for best supporting roles, not the main prize.
And if, red card, you think for one minute that we are coming over there to take you lot lightly just remember back a year when we were cruising the game at 1-0 and you beat us 3-1 which cost us the league in the end.
Didn't forecast a score because I'm not tempting fate, see you for a few in the bar after because I won't speak to you until then
because he's a miserable old git.
you dont get that sort of hostility at my cluib!
What the fcuk is a cluib ?, Specs not hostile, maybe volatile but definitely not hostile, a great big teddy bear really. Just your kind of person Harbs.Best of luck Saturday, may even be there, looks like the one to watch this weekend.

Only 3 results showing on pdfl.org

Heard perkins and the match officials turned up for the game but no psl???

game was called off at 9am. as was 3 others prem games and many others in the other divisions. something to do with the wet and snowy weather. perkins and the ref were informed 9.15 am.
i recieved a text saying the game was on... perkins turned up and the ref but no home team. can only hope that psl were told the game was definately off as they are the favorites for the league at this stage and every player in local football would feel uncomfortable thinking psl may loose the title on a technicality.
heard randall was third choice sub, guess that will mean he is fresh for the last 15-18 minutes of tomorrows game.

Lee, if we lose the title it will be because we was not good enough to win it on the pitch! not because of the attempts to influence or force us to play after it was called off due to the recent weather.
THE GAME WAS CALLED OF AT 9AM BY THE RULE BOOK!!!
psl did not call it off. and perkins were told this early in the morning, the council was advised that it would not be playable at 2pm, therefore it was cancelled simple as were 3 other prem games and half the other league games.
saying that we didnt have a side was also untrue as we only had dwayne rankin doubtful and paul attfield away.
our side would have been:
roberts, randell,lawrence,duffy,kingstone, sanderson, garwell,leishman,dooner, graham,horner,
subs:quinney,hempson,reveley,ponsford.
a weak team short of players ????
obviously you'd wanna call it off with that weak team AL
Harbs
If the pitch was not playable when you arrived at PSL then they can hardly take any points away
fair shout Al,
it was out team that was weakened if anything as im out injured ;)
surprised alex wanted to play knowing im out.
Carrots when i arrived at the ground there was a game being played on the very same pitch all be it they were kids but the pitch looked in fantastic condition and compared to Alconbury and long sutton pitches where we changed our boots for wellies at half time the game was defo playable.
lets just hope we do get to play you for the points.

mini soccer in the far corner, they set their own pitch out and put their own portable goals up ect... and the council are not called out to do it for them, kids will play in any conditions good bad or otherwise.
i don't know what state the pitch was in sat at 2pm as i didn't go to look at it after i was told it was off. instead i went out with the wife and kids. which is a rare thing to do for anyone involved with sat footy.
i wanted to play this game!! and i told gino this. but after our lads where told it was off most dicided to go out with their families. so would have been inpossible to get them all there for kick off.
what will happen next time a game gets called off? are all away teams going to go and double check the pitch and then put in a complaint? the game was cancelled in the correct manner as stated by the rules.
