Great wins for both - especially Fletton. St.Neots whilst not as strong as last year, have been picking up recently under new management after my friend Mr Kuhne left.

Yaxley are not as strong this year either, and having seen a Foggyless St.Ives lose to Deeping recently they would not put the fear of god into anyone - could be time for yet another Peterborough League County success?

If what you say is true carefree, that the draw was done in advance and the way its panned out in the latter stages it looks very suspicious to me.

not only does it guarantee a peterborough side in the final, it also guarantees a supposed 'higher level' team in the final!

Don't know if it's just me but when I've played in the Hunts Senior I always felt that the powers that be would dearly love a final contested by the 'higher level' teams or certainly ones a bit further down the A1.

Paranoid for sure!! Look at the quarters before they were played and we wouldn't have been expected to beat a side 2 leagues above us and a new side in the Prem like Hampton would not have been expected to beat a side a league above them, and they didn't want a P'boro league side in the final I can assure you of that.

A few years ago the semi-final draw was supposed to be made after the quarters but everyone seemed to know that the two best sides (usually UCL Premier) would be kept apart
Nowadays the draw is done right through the competition before the start otherwise I dont think it would be Hampton v Fletton
