I had thought about giving this prediction thing a miss as i'm bloody rubbish!! But hey here goes:
Benwick 1 v 7 Warboys
Farcet 3 v 1 Eye
March 2 v 2 Doddington
Rovers 1 v 3 Fen T's
Sawtry 3 v 1 Stilton
Cheers for the good luck bratts, looking forward to the game big time, i'm sure either way we will give a good account of ourselves!!
Big game for Sawtry and Stilton. Can either team afford to lose another game ? Plenty more twists and turns before the end of the season with us to play Sawtry twice, Doddington twice, Manea twice (our nemesis), Stilton and Guyhirn. How about that for a run in !!!
Looking at the league table, none of the top 5 / 6 teams can afford a slip up. Sawtry need to keep winning, question is have they got the strength in the squad to do so? When we played them at there place they were very lucky to come away with all 3 points, and like you say CAFC you got to play then twice n you are 7 points behind them with 4 games in hand!!
As for doddington and stilton, we still got to play both those team and there are a few personnal scores to settle, so we will be making sure we come out on top in those games.
Things are finally looking up for us at farcet, with seb's arrival and some new signings we can start to look towards playing the football that we are capable of.
Bratts
bratts,
no disrespect because you played well that day and it was shaping up to be a good game but with the sendings off and the bookings it totally ruined any examination of form for either team. yes, we didn't perhaps play particularly well that day but most importantly we picked up the points.
by the way, i'm still serving my ban for 'bringing the game into disrepute!!!'
i hope never to cross a certain persons path again while playing - say no more!
and coates - that is one hell of a run-in!
at least you say you've got your destiny in your own hands.
oh yeah, my predictions:
benwick 1-6 warboys
farcet 3-1 eye s&s
march st mary's 2-2 doddington
p'bro rovers 1-1 chatteris
sawtry 3-1 stilton
2morrow - yea the game was ruined by the sendings off etc, but in a way even though you guys wasnt having the best of games i think it helped you out more than us on the day. You won that game ( in my opinion ) purely because you were a fitter side than us and the fact your striker can finish.
I hope yourselves along with coates have a good run in for the rest of the season and find yourselves promoted, but if not i look forward to meeting ( sorry beating ) you next season.

Well done Coates great result against Chatteris today, looking forward to our Semi 17/02 but I still feel it will be Jube in the Final but we will have to see who performs on the day.
From super jube's comment i trust you coates boys won? Well done lads!!
Results from Div2
Benwick 0 v 5 Warboys
Farcet 3 v 1 Eye :pty:
March st marys 4 v 5 Doddington ( some game that must have been )
Peterborough Rovers 3 v 2 Chatteris Fen Tigers
Sawtry 1 v 3 Stilton ( what went wrong 2morrow )??
Nice for our boys to win for a change. Lot of new players in, new formation, but a very good strong display and it should have been a bigger win if it wasnt for fergie missing a penalty and having another goal ruled out for offside. But we happy to get 3 points
Yes, a good win for our boys in both games. A lucky ish win by all accounts at Rutland but a thoroughly deserved win against a good Chatteris team. Also looking forward to the cup semi and Jube must start as favourites.
Must win game for Stilton next week. Looking forward to that game first.
bratts,
what went wrong? well, apparently we were rubbish and they deserved to win, simple as that! wasn't there myself but i was told we just didn't perform. we need to get our heads on if we're to stay in the race. our only consolation is that we have some players coming back from injury and suspension in the next week.
spoke to seb yesterday and he told me he's your new free-scoring striker! all i can say i'm glad we don't have to play each other again this season or i fear i'd be sent off again trying to kick his arse!!!
2morrow - Seb free scoring striker
Yea he did score but it was atap in from 2 yards out, ask him about the one he hit that ended up near the corner flag
Considering there were a lot of new players it was a good performance all round and nice to see a good atmosphere back at the club. Could not believe your result against stilton, you boys need to up your game mate. All the best
Bratts
funny old thing he didn't mention the corner flag one!
and yes you're right we really need to up our game. i'm just hoping that that result was the kick up the arse we needed to get us going again.
thanks for the good wishes, all i can do is echo them in your direction mate and with seb on board you'll definitely move in the right direction (but not if he plays all the time though! )
The plan is not to allow seb to play
But we felt he deserved a run out ( probably the only time for the rest of this season ).
Once everyone clicks then we should be okay, trying not to disrupt the team is the hard thing, as all of a sudden there are several players that want to come along ( which is good ), but i feel for the rest of this season we dont want/need to be bringing in more. The plan is to have a reserve side next season and have the club/team running better, but to get a reserve side we need to keep the core of what we have and build on that. Away at March st mary's this week, that should be a good/tough game. Another 3 points? Hope so!!!

Hit the corner flag eh?He couldnt wait to tell me he is now a star striker with 3 in 3games.Had to pretend he was breaking up on the phone as he was doing my head in
I na he scoring a few on a sunday morning ( in the warm ups  )
To be fair sebs arrival at our club has been fantastic. I na there were a few people that were ready to stick the knife in n have a pop, and yes he could have possibly stayed at a good club ( PSL ) or gone on and manage another club but thankfully he decided to come to us.
The morale and togetherness of the team has lifted to another level and it will only get better ( we will only get better ). Some people think i have taken the easy way out by stepping back and letting seb have full control of running the team for the rest of the season, i can asure you i havent, i wasnt getting the response i needed from certain players, so in comes seb to see what he can do ( leaving me to sort out other aspects of the club ).

Totally agree Bratts, we have a good squad and the morale on Saturday was excellent. Everyone seemed to get on well and we blended well on the pitch. A couple more games and we should gel really well.
Now, where's Seb to talk is through the shot he forgot to mention....
seb hayes you are required to explain yourself . . .
bratts,
any truth in the rumour that has just been passed on to me:
steve mcclaren has been onto you to see if you'd release seb hayes to alleviate his strike force headache for the spain friendly?
don't be tiring him out, ease him back!
B******s to Seb, I heard his older brother was a right class act.
2morrow - afraid this is true - i recieved the call at about 10.30 last night, an undisclosed fee has been agreed as we decided seb was surplus to requirements
I phoned seb and told him of the proposal from mcclaren and he thought we was talking about the F1 team
Bratts would you stop talking s**t. I think your trying to mock your manager to take the reflection of just how bad a game you had.
The rumour mill is turning and its throwing out suggestions like change in the starting 11, S Hayes for Jim Bratten.
Think you,ve forgotten you are now just a player and have been on here ripping your manager all week. Dear, oh dear, oh dear!!
Silly boy hey Sebby!!!!!?
Seb is fully aware of my mocking him on here, and he is taking it in the manor it is being said in...Yes you are correct i am now just a player ( for the rest of this season anyway ), and if seb chooses to punish me by making me have splinters for the rest of the season, then i will take my punishment....
bratts, quality son!
mind you after watching that shower on wednesday i reckon seb could have done miles better!
2morrow, you seem to have plenty to say about Sawtry. Sure you're qualified? From what I hear the last place you're to be seen on a Saturday afternonn is at a Sawry game!!! :soo:
