Big game this week with both sides wanting to win. Few questions to answer -
1 Will scotch stay on his feet?
2 Will matt seddon run on the pitch again?
3 Can Jamie Graham score against netherton
4 Will Danny wilder turn up ?
It will be a good game on a poor pitch and whoever handles it best will win! Whatever happens, back to jub for a beer and some food!! May best team win!!

I'll only run on the pitch if you do your best undertaker chokeslam impression again bud,
If not, i'll be waiting on the sidelines doing my best "earthquake" impression, watching while scotcher and sam kingston continue their love affair, trying to take off one anothers clothes again

Or surely a better question would be:
Who's gonna eat more sausages down the Jube afterwards; me , Abbas or Foggy?
I see a challenge coming on!!!
JNE Vs Netherton eating comp!!!

now this sounds more like my kind of game.
I might even get a few minutes on the field of play for that one.
surely me, eddie, Jack (seddon junior) abbas, the ox and JT would win hands down?????
i might have to join in that one Matt!
abbas AND pino! even homer simpson would struggle with that competition!

Jube 3 - Netherton 0
enforced sub due to injury at half time, we let 2 goals in, had to put an extra striker on to chase goals.
doesn't help the injured pride though.
Matt,
Substitute being subbed!!!!
OH DEAR!!!!

I did beat Bainsey to the last Pie down the Jube afterwads though!
:bst:
You must be so so proud!!!
Well done to Netherton yesterday.
It was not a good game as such but plenty of drama including another dubious (to say the least) penalty given to them by Mr R Parker (3 in 2 games now against us) Another blatant dive and even there own player did not appeal and looked shocked at the awarding of it!!
However, we should have won having taken the lead twice but fair play to Netherton who dug deep and battled back well to take it to penalities.
Hope they go on to win it (will with reg referring) as they deserve to for all there effort and commitment.
reg aint had a good weekend then! he sent one of our players off on saturday for 2 of the most innocuous bookings you'll ever see(should've used common sense with the second at the very least) we were on our way to victory at the time and he cost us big time! :ang:

JB - any truth in the rumour that something kicked off in the Farcet v Scarletts game yesterday??
I'm not trying to stir anything up either before anyone jumps on board - I just heard something may have happened concerning a GK from one of the teams but that's about it :soo:
Yes the Scarlett's keeper was sent off, young lad up front was late, caught the keeper, words were said, keeper reacted, possibly slapped the young lad, ref got it right sent keeper off and booked the forward, daft really. We were already 3-1 down and this was after about 36 mins. We actually played better and the score stayed the same. Nothing really controversial, ref dealt with it. After about 5 mins game cooled down and nothing else to report. Scarletts once again had a dreadful first half but played a lot better in the second half. Had a few key players missing including JB, As I've stated before if Scarlett's could stop leaking daft goals and vastly improve discipline they could win things.
Well done to Netherton, they seemed to have stopped J.N.E. from completing the treble. From what I hear it was very close and could have gone either way. Not going to comment on refereeing, never have and never will. Were you injured Harbs? If so thats a quality sub J.N.E. were short of. Once again congrats. to Ron's boys and all the best to Shaky's lads for the league and the other cup.

Foggy, where was that 7.5 / 10 you promised me ?>??
Thought it was a good game untill both teams tired in extra time, we certainly put up as better showing than we did in the PFA cup.
Bit harsh saying that Reg favours us though. We think he hates us!!! If that were true neither Glen Adams, Paul McVey, Swanny, and now Reg would be alowed to ref us? Should we just withdraw from the league as their seems to be no one else left???? Scotty said it was a def penalty, but not gonna argue the toss about it on here as we'll never agree!
So Netherton 1 and a half -Jube 1 and a half....
~The league game beckons..... !
Mick you're killing me here!
Yes still out injured from my last clash with Netherton.
i'm a bit worried im going to step on the pitch next and be confused with foggy or matt i feel that outta shape!
can't comment on the game i didn't even have the decency to turn out and support the lads however i was in the same state as i was on my b'day so some may agree it was perhaps wise to stay away!
Harbs hope you recover soon and can take part in both Perkins and J.N.E's games. Would love to see Perkins do something, especially for Gino and Alex, Perkins have underachieved for far too long.Didn't make it myself on Sat., looks like I was lucky. All the best for the rest of the season look forward to some more friendly banter. :nwy: :nwy:
maybe this is the problem Mick seems every team i play for under achieves.
may take a full year out and see if i'm just personaly jinxed.
Don't see J.N.E. under achieving this season Harbs, they have in the past but perhaps you signing has changed it. Maybe you're not so jinxed as you think my friend. Having a settled team and a decent squad certainly helps.Perkins have recently been very Jekyl and Hyde, brilliant one week, average the next and crap the following week. I don't think I'm out of order saying that, not watched them much this season but that was the story for last two seasons. They've had a good run recently, hope this spells success for them. :pty2:
