Oooooh I love a good Rumour!!!
As a plyer who has played against him and had the banter on here, he certainly wouldn't play for the reserves or there would be a revolt......
Maybe the 1st team will sign him as anoth body who knows...
But i read in JB's threads that he wouldn't leave this season so surely he is breaking his own rules......
Lets see if the contract gets signed hey...
is that the same as11 who was ripping you for biting on a previous thread eddie? hook, line and sinker i think was the phrase. as for afc wimbo's i've played in that area for past few seasons when i've been suspended etc. as my ex came from that area and merely informed the manager that i play for down there that i'm available for next week or 2 until i get my crap sorted out here and for the last season he's been involved with one of their reserve sides.
why should it be of any interest to you eddie anyway? sub-standard i think was the label you gave me so why do you care what i do :soo:
oh and threw a game? i'm hardly john fashanu am i! i think that had more to do with the whole team rather than one individual player. hang on would that make rabbit bruce grobbelaar as my accomplice :soo:
to all at netherton thanks for caring and keep it real :nwy:
JB so are you leaving Netherton then ?
See AFC Wimbledon got Rushden in the FA Trophy will you be playing in that game......he he he
And as for throwing a game, god your joking JB ain't good enough to work out how to do that as the fowrds skip by him again....lol

The only thing he threw was his dummy out of the pram!
arfur I don't suppose your comments have anything to do with you playing do they
I don't have a hope in hell of getting anywhere near afc 1st team ever and aiden you're right I did well and truly throw ny toys out of the pram which won't come as any kind of shock to people who know me!
Surely not jb throwing his dummy out!!! Perish the thought of that ever happening
you know you'd love me to have a chance to throw my dummy out at you jimmy!
Yea i would sign you mate, only problem being is i dont think i can afford the cost of dummies and nappies every week
But we do need a lino ( only joking )
You have my number!!

oh my god I'm bored now.
thought this was peterborough sportstalk? not JB's personal transfer news website!
Altogether now, Q:What do Lord Westwood, LImetree, PSL, Netherton saturdays, Netherton Sundays, AFC Wimbledon, Langtoft and Scarletts all have in common over the last 18 months? zzzzzzzz
Seriously though JB, all the best mate,
But can we please talk about something else now???!!!!!
cheers matt and i hope you start getting better treatment now too!
quite flattering that people wanna give up their valuble time talking about me

boot boy
18-01-2007, 17:31
is that potty training langtoft?????
says boot boy from northborough! i know who you are
Well done JB on your debut, 7 nil defeat...ops....I heard only 6 where your fault, tough level to jump up to for you was it...he he he
Jesting don't worry, i was shocking sat and the manger subbed me.....Bad call i felt ......
you should have said some choice words to him and stormed off! thats what i would've done
sat was one of them days. 1st half sun in our eyes and the wind at us(it was bad in pboro so think what it was like out in the sticks!). within first couple of mins a ball over the top at least 2 players clearly off side and the lino flagged but the ref's reason to overrule him was "because your defenders called it off"! :soo: ref was awful(thorold which will come as no surprise to many!) and then down to 10 men a minute before half time effectively killed the game off. then as sods law would have it clouds come out and cover the sun and wind drops a bit.
if it wasn't for the ref it would have been a fantastic game as he totally ruined it. not saying the scoreline would've definately been different but could've been anything as teams were perfectly matched in terms of effectiveness on the pitch. griffin park good bunch of lads and had a good laugh and honest genuine players(apart from big oaf at the back who just hoofed the ball and players backsides!)
not the best result for ressies either! i think i've jinxed the club
Well good to see you enjoyed it and still smiling...
Yes i should have told Aiden what i thought of his poor managerial decision, i wzas just getting into the game after 65 mins of wandering around a nice green field.....
1-1 is fine, anothe rpoint towards the 65 we need to take the league title, 9 games to go......7 wins and 2 draws will do it now......

The wind ruined our game pity we couldn't get the big pitch marked out in time may have been a different outcome.
To be fair we hit the post aswell as having two shots cleared off the line but it just wasn't meant to be.
Still we didn't lose and wimblington didn't gain any ground on us. Alot of the top teams still have to play each other so you never know what might happen.
Arfur it was more like 72mins with the wind and balls being pumped forward you didn't stand a chance against their 6'4 CB and I'm sure we scored about 5mins after you came off although that was from a corner.
Well maybe i should through a tantram and walk off then join another club.....he he
Good decision Aiden.......
maybe you should then i could come in up front for the netherton game

I think Arfur and Matty did a good enough job last time JB
i think matty did yeah  only kidding old man you're adding the much needed experience to that team.
Old man...Still teach you young ones a trick or two...
i would like to state publicly on this site that arfur is the best player in the pdfl due to the fact he called me young!
Now, do i edit these posts or not
It is tempting
just sit back and bask in the weekends glory ross!
I am basking, just looking for something else to entertain me, as im bored at work
i agree i am probably the best stricker in Com league 2 that plays for Langtoft....
Langtoft_United
22-01-2007, 10:13
Whats a stricker?
i dunno but arfur's the best at langtoft apparently!
God it's like educating children at times,
Stricker was the original name for a forward.
King Edward II banned football in England in 1314 and this stood until 1434 and one of the leaders of this change in Parliament was a guy called Stricker.....You young lad's...............Hope you believe or was it just a typing error........
i believe you mate. after all you was around when that was happening!

wind and conditions are hard 4 both teams . there the sort of days when ur away to gedney hill on a bobbly undulatin pitch where u need to dig out a 2-1 win . surely u cant blame the conditions n then blame the ref lol . netherton went 1-0 down and didnt get a decision for 15 mins , but its all about graft sometimes .
got alconbury in the cup this week . me n jt are managers for the day lol . should be interestin . lookin forward to it, wonder if rocket ron will help me out n draw me some player diagrams like he did for the oak cup final 2 yr ago
Hi Eddie
Quite right mate thought one of our players had bunged the ref one for the first 15min
Still think we deserved more than we got from that game though. You got a good side like you say grafted well not enough to get what you did a draw would have been fair F*King wind did wonders for the headed goal aye!
Well done and good luck for the run in mate.

yeah that pitch certainly shows who wants to battle a result out . it would have to be the most 1 sided ref performance in that 15 mns but then he played well i thought . old matey took the pen n all i said to the ref was as he stroked the ball in 3 of ur players were ahead of him lol . he could spot a hand ball through 8 players but then couldnt see any encroachment lol
and as for mr siccardi and his header . dont think he could believe he scored . then he came back down to earth with a shot 50 yards over the bar.
a good game though i thought n hopefully u can do us a few favours with the other teams .
We getting there mate starting to get some stability to the line up not easy to take over a team at that level mid season with so few players.
Making 5 additions this week so should be there... We hope to get a good result this weekend going into the semi-final the week after on a high.
