Couple of tough games for the top teams this weekend:-

Coates 4 v 0 Chatteris fen Tigers
Doddington 0 v 0 March st Marys
Eye s&s 0 v 2 Manea
Farcet 3 v 0 Peterborough rovers
Sawtry 2 v 2 Stilton
Warboys 2 v 1 Hereward

Cant see chatteris giving coates too much trouble, game of the weekend will be derby game between doddington v march st mary's. Manea will be too strong for eye, i fancy us to beat rovers, we were unlucky not to get a point against coates the other week ( or unlucky not to lose by more ), sawtry v stilton should be a close game and warboys to just pip hereward to 3 points.

You ain't kidding!!!
Long, long way to go, should make for a good finale!
We have still got most of them to play yet in some cases twice!!!

I'm sure there are plenty more twists yet and anyone in the top 5 should fancy there chances.

March St Mary's can cause a few upsets along the way as well. As they showed when we played them recently!!

Now's the time to stand up and be counted!!

Well I play for Sawtry and providing we get keep injury free and get our first eleven out every week we'll definitely be there. But it should be very interesting and like you said everyone at the top has got to play each other so there's a long way to go with plenty of twists and turns!

Well here are my predictions

Coates P v P Chatteris fen Tigers
I reckon this will be off. The Manor is not the greatest at the best of times!! All this rain will not help!!

Doddington 2 v 3 March st Marys
Big game for Doddington, back in the title race and won't want to drop points but i fancy March to sneak a win.

Eye s&s 1 v 3 Manea
Manea will prove to strong for Eye here.

Farcet 3 v 1 Peterborough rovers
Another close game, i will agree with you Bratts and go with a home win.

Sawtry 2 v 4 Stilton
Another big game. Stilton have dropped a few points of late and need to win here. And they will.

Warboys 4 v 1 Hereward
Hereward are improving but Warboys will be too strong and will win.

Massive game for you on Sat then mate. Not knowing much about you i've gone for an away win!! I'm not often right tho if the truth is known!!!

What you reckon?

It's taken a long time this season for this section of the site to get going. Always good to hear other team's opinions!!

I watched you hammer us 7-0 earlier this season in the cup, you pplayed well but we were awful. Unfortunately I couldn't play that day but I left at half time at 2-0 imagine my shock when I found out it finished 7-0!!!

Fortunately we've made some quality additions since then, all lads that have played higher and in some cases a lot higher so I think we'll be there in the mix at the end of the season.

Gutted our game is off on Sat and just hoping we don't end up with the usual end of season fixture pile-up!

Sounds like it could be a real close affair!!

End of season pile-ups are a nightmare, especially if the pitch is as bad as the Manor is in W'sey!!!!!!!

Here's to a good second half of the season then mate!!

I predict an upturn in Farcet season. They will hard to beat from now on.

jb

would that be due to recent staff/player movements mr F?

Gonna need a miracle to turn them around jb. lets hope the staff/player movenments is not just a stepping stone again for him , mind you farcet IS closer to get to yaxley !

Yes JB, staff movements.I have enjoyed my time with Seb immensely and i am sure that our loss is Farcet gain.He is a very enthusiastic young man and im sure will go on to do bigger and better things in and around the city.I for one am gutted about him leaving but from the bottom of my heart i wish him well whatever he does.He deserves it.

Has Seb moved onto to Farcet immediately then?? I knew he had an interest in that job, but i thought it was for next season... :soo:
