Would like to think tha this has been cancelled on the sayso of a 'proper official' rather that just the sayso of someone form their club?
It must have 'p1ssed' down in Langtoft recently - different cloud formations?
been going through langtoft most days in the last few weeks and deffo no sign of any serious bad weather! yet ANOTHER underhand piece of work from langtoft? surely an individual club cant make the decision to call a game off.

considering i live at werrington, and is fairly near to langtoft, i do find it unreal that they have had the "floods" out there and yet. i went through to bourne on xmas eve and it was ok , cant remember it chucking it down since there.
bit quiet on the "langtoft" front .... any takers !!!!!! :soo:

The groundsman couldnt mark out the pitch today as it was a total mess, a local ref came down and inspected and agreed the pitch wasn't playable.
I also had a full squad and bearing in mind how important it was I would much rather have played the game now and get it out of the way.
JB you remind me of my 8 yr old cousin, " Its not fair langtoft this langtoft that" Get over it man.
i'm sure your 8 year old cousin wont do to you what i'll do next week
you bite far too easily langtoft learn the way of the forum man.
Thats rich coming from you JB
had an interesting afternoon round my mates who lives.......yes you guessed it......langtoft!!! we went out over the field where langtoft play and the pitch was 200% better than leveringtons yesterday(lines looked ok to me) and that was AFTER last nights downpours. the pitch we played on you sunk up to the top of your boots when putting weight on one leg to strike the ball and you sank into puddles in each area but not one player on the pitch cried and said we shouldn't have played-thats football. if we didn't play on sh**y pitches we'd play in the summer and have winter breaks.
cant help but think its a bit of an own goal langtoft getting the game called off(jumping the gun to get the pitch inspected early) as we felt the effects of the xmas period and really needed to blow the cobwebs away and fortunately we were up against the team at the foot of the table. you will have to do all that in a crunch title match with even more time since last kicking a ball! even if you had played and lost to psl at least you'd have been fresher and sharper to stop us getting another 3 points. if anything you'd have got a harder workout from psl than we were given by leverington so would have probably had the edge on us. but as the saying goes footballs a funny old game and you could get into double figures against us or vice versa. will hopefully be a good game as both teams i'm sure have been looking forward to it and are well up for a good battle.
carrots when's your next crunch title match :soo:
just dangling the carrot in front of the donkey!
Well if i am the carrott then you must be the donkey
Fits in well with your football anyway
very good. it wasn't for you to bite but well done anyway!
