View Full Version : Netherton have drawn Jubilee in Q/finals in both cups!
Seems there will be a q/final exit in one or both cups for one of the leading prem side this season.
its amazing that both q.finals the draw has worked out like this!
what are you're views on this Netherton lads?

suppose there aint alot both teams can do about it . . . dont think there are any hot balls in the bag as such . got to play u lot at some stage hey .....
not drawn u in the northants quaters as far as i know, but will prob draw u in semi if we both win lol

And regarding the sly little comment down against Oak, no.....that performance wouldnt scare even an under 10's side mate!! Aweful game,but not helped by the conditions,i'll give you that one.
Does not seem possible to draw us in both cups but rememebr ir happening a few years ago!! Should be good with which ever team winning defo favourites to go on and win it!!

hot shot scotch will be firin hopefully addin to his tally of 19 this season although u lot seem to have the next 4 scorers lol
yeah wind was a bit of a pain, anyway its not like we dont know ur strengths n u not know a few of our limited ones... i would make u favourites in a one of game , but seen as we might play u lot 4 times could we maybe spoil ur secret quad winning plans? surprised that u not mentioned it since wasnt it like in november u said about it 2 years ago and id say u have a better chance than 2 years ago?...
na not makin any appearences this year nipper , matt is in alot better shape than me , so i cant even get a shirt on the bench . even when we have a bare 11...... think its because i stopped makin rocket ron cups of tea so he disiplined me and put me on a year ban .
you Netherton boys should pull out of one of the cups to be fair thats if you want to see the rest of the season out.
stop your biatchin and get on with your games.
Would be easier for you all to conceed the league now because the currrent leaders are too much for you and they dont have much to offer.
how gutted were you lot to get us in both cups knowing that in at least one of the games the ref will be fair?!

we will see , if i was manager i would withdraw . dont want to be embaressed . maybe there is no point 2 the season other than the jube to win the quad . but mind u we do have a habbit of winning one thing every year..... what did u lot win for the last 3 or 4 years? .

As for quad, were not saying that and 3 hard draws in the cups, as i said before want to win the league and Northants and go from there!!

Sorry, forgot to put that Randall is the Seasons "worst" player as voted on sat nite - He fuming!! started ranting then about PSL being the best team in Prem for last 10 years!! That whats tequila does to him!!

no draw 4 us mis informed me thinks .... was a tight game , they scored first and battld to keep the lead , we scored our winner 10 mins from end . a good tight 2-1 contested game . suppose 3 points is all that matters

Well done to the Netherton boys for keeping one PBoro side in the Northants Cup.
Unfortunately we gave our worst display I have ever seen/been a part of which takes us out.Not helped by the long break between games but hey,on the day not good enough!!!
So good luck to you boys.Should go on to retain it I reckon.Especially as your bound to get another home tie!!!!???
See you boys in a few weeks to take out our frustrations!!!!

yeah break dont do any favours hey , good job we were handed on paper a easier tie , the team we played were very compitent but no real star players . there star player got subbed and nearly had a fist fight with the manager as he didnt want to be subbed but there manager said thats wot u get for turnin up drunk lol . good job he aint our manager , we wouldnt have enough subs .
so were they very good or just a bad day for u lot ? .... 2 weeks hey , excitin .
I don't think there's alot of chance being subbed for drinking too much lemonade on a saturday night eddie :lol:

nah, Spec, Eddies allowed to drink real drinks on a saturday night, as he's on a season long break, it's just the rest of us mugs that are on a strict no pizza and lemonade diet :lol:
The lemonade has always been associated with you young pups from Netherton, however you must all be getting on a bit now so I suppose I should start treating you like adults !!
Eddie I did the town thing 20 years ago mate and retired gracefully about 3 years ago, very rarely venture up there now but I'm sure I will find you one bleak night, I start on lager and then I batter the bacardi and cokes, just got a few pounds to lose for a couple of weeks to put some old fatties in their place and then I'll be back to normal.

Netherton have been drawn at home against Northampton Kingsley Park in the Semis on 4/2/07.
Longboat play Daventry Abercorn or Corby White Hart.
Think we were meant to play JNE in the PFA cup that week.

nippa, you misinformed....there's only one sunday team I ever see out on the ale every week on a saturday night and thats the netherton boys...unless ron enforces a lemonade only night when playing the jube :lol:
Spec, We used to love it when everyone was calling us little boys on lemonade (god that feels like a few years back.)
Always remember getting bantered about that by Direct power in a cup final (ronnie f, D stratton and crew). "go home little boys,drink your lemonade little boys"
Funny, there was only one team on the ale in the club house after we boshed them!!! loved it.
