Coates v Fen Tigers
As this has been moved to Fen Tigers, as Gary says below it will be a much harder game. So :soo:

Doddington 2 v 2 Sawtry
This should prove to be a good close game, with both teams in good form.

Eye S&S 1 v 2 Farcet
Eye are improving all the time and farcet are still not firing on all cylinders. But i fancy them to get a win.

Guyhirn 3 v 2 March St Mary
Another close one in my opinion, however i fancy Guyhirn will have enough to see of St Mary's.

Manea 7 v 1 Benwick
Manea will be far too strong for Benwick here i fancy a bit of a rout.

Peterborough Rvrs 5 v 1 Hereward
Again i think Rovers, depsite their drop in form here will have too much for the visiting Hereward.

Well we are at Chatteris now so I aint going to predict that one. This makes it a real toughy, going have to defend real hard.

Doddington 1 v 2 Sawtry
Eye 2 v 3 Farcet
Guyhirn 2 v 1 March St Mary
Manea 6 v 2 Benwick
Rovers 4 v 0 Hereward

Always thought he was a good pundit!!!

I'm guessing our match has been moved because of waterlogged pitch!

If the weather keeps up chances are dave that it will get called off at chatteris, it did last week!!

Nice to see you got confidence in us actually winning a game mate

I went past the Chatteris FT pitch last Friday - it is in a real mess. Good luck! Will still opt for a Coates win.

Doddington 0 v 2 Sawtry

Eye 2 v 4 Farcet

Guyhirn 2 v 1 March St Mary
Guyhirn won last week with a goal 3 minutes from time - was a close game.

Manea 7 v 0 Benwick

Rovers 2 v 2 Hereward

Granted that one man doesn't make a team but Hereward had ex Chelsea Youth and Posh striker Zeke Rowe featured for them a couple of weeks ago. Interesting...

Looking at how the league sits now, my top 5 would be:

1st - Coates
2nd - Guyhirn
3rd - Stilton
4th - Sawtry
5th - Doddington or Manea :soo:

It's very tight at the top but you coates boys seem to be getting better n better.

I think this league is wide open, with 6 teams that can still win it.
I have to believe we can win it and providing we start to finish more of the chances we create i am sure we can. Guyhirn and Stilton are two good teams who will always be tough to beat, but have dropped a couple of points of late. Sawtry currently have points on the board and are on a roll, very difficult to beat a team on such a roll. Doddington are tight at the back and don't concede many but faded off last year (expect them to be stronger this time round). Manea, beat us twice last year and are another team that seem to keep getting wins.

On that basis my top 6 are:

1st - Coates (gotta believe we can win it!)
2nd - Guyhirn (back to having a strong team, will be hard to beat)
3rd - Sawtry
4th - Stilton (have dropped some pts of late)
5th - Doddington
6th - Manea

However, i honestly believe it will be a very tight finish with only one or two points seperated a group of teams!!

Even though i have put sawtry down in my top 5, i can see them possibly slipping out of the top 5, yes the hammerd us early part of the season and then beat us 1-0 at there place, for a team at the top of the league i wasnt that impressed with them.

Zeke Rowe played against Benwick and scored in a 6-5 win. Will be interesting to see if he continues to play, or how good he is now. He is 33 apparently.

Guyhirn are very beatable, and I think March St. Mary let them off the hook. March have some good players many of whom have played in higher P'boro divisions, just need that bit more creativity.

Regarding Zeke Rowe, from what i have heard and know he hasn't played any football for a long time until now, so i guess he be fairly unfit, but will no doubt be a good asset to hereward athletic.

Any team are beatable and we can all say we let them off the hook ( i've said that loads this season  ), but we can only beat whats in front of us and play with the team we have available.

Personally i cant wait for this season to be over so i can rebuild for next season.

1 Sawtry
2 Doddington
3 Stilton
4 Coates
5 Guyhirn
6 March
7 Warboys
8 Manea
9 Farcet
10 Chatteris

That'll do, would be a good accumulator if it came in

Too many good teams. Chatteris are capable of beating Sawtry. So I make that 18 chances of dropping points for all of the above + Eye who have already taken points off Guyhirn and Stilton. Thats a lot of BIG games in a season. I reckon you might get away with going up with 5 or 6 losses on your record.

Serious. Am i ever not serious.

We'll see. We buckled last season. I may change my view by the new year. We have a few more things in our favour this season but I still believe the Manor may cost us too many points.

Anyway, sell some tickets for Sat.
