good win for both of us and with perkins beating freescoring fletton(the team who i think we were all hoping to avoid) i think its anyones cup now. gedney res's v hampton res's next week and from last season against those 2 teams they are both winnable games too.

would be a shame to meet in the semis lets hope we meet in the final bif!

Do people think that my Perkins old boys victory against Fletton was such a shock? We beat them twice last year and drew against them 2 weeks before our cup victory. Yes they are a very good side, but we ain't bad either. Only 2 defeats in the last calendar year! We won this cup last year and do not intend to give it up easily this year! Whoever is left will make it hard, but if we play to our potential then we stand as good a chance as anybody!

- you were certainly the best team we faced last year and from what I have seen so far that situation hasn't changed - would expect you to get to the final at the very least, best of luck for th rest of the season buddy, catch you in the New Year.

on league positions of the teams left perkins are definately the favourites for this cup. get the feeling any team facing fletton res's this season will either get a good result or they'll concede a hatful. i dont think many games involving them will be very tight though and i didn't fancy being on the end of a hammering if it didn't go too well for us!

back on this subject. when langtoft are flying high there representative on this site seems to practically live on here! out of the cup and getting beaten in the league she's nowhere to be seen now :soo:

we did the famous ( concede ) with 5 mins to go in normal time !! then find ourselves 2 1 down wiv 8 mins to go .. inspired substitution i think gave us the edge ... bring on sum new fresh young legs .. :nwy: :lol:

Yep we threw away the lead twice on a pitch with a huge puddle in the middle,

To be fair the effort wasn't there from us we didnt deserve to win, the ref had an absolute shocker missed the most blatent of handballs for wimblingtons 2nd goal

Anyway we didn't deserve anything we couldnt play our way in a bog and didn't adapt the way wimblington did.

Fair play we need to get it sorted don't want to give you lot any more chances. :lol:
