Something I should never do, predict our score, we have messed up before.

Benwick 0 v 11 Coates
Chatt FT 3 v 3 Guyhirn
Doddington 2 v 3 Farcet
Hereward 2 v 4 Stilton
Sawtry 5 v 1 Eye
Warboys 3 v 1 March St M

Wishful thinking on the Guyhirn score, but that small pitch will be the beating of teams, as it was Thorney and Stilton last year.

The rest judging by my last weeks predictions, who knows. This season may come down to goal difference so we have to go for it.

We beat Wisbech Fen Stars 3 - 0. Poor first half but got well on top in the second, very relieved after the previous weeks events.

It's nice to see that it's tight at the top of our league between the top 5 teams so far this season and no one is running away with it. I still fancy coates to take the title with stilton 2nd , Guyhirn 3rd , Manea 4th & Sawtry 5th.

I know some people don't agree fully with this new league structure ( me being one of them ) and it hard for new teams like benwick & Hereward, but it seems to be making great entertainment for some of the more established clubs and that makes this a good league to be in.

I think Div 2 is real competitive. Would like to know how we fair against other leagues.

I've asked if anyone has updates for the Cambs cups thread.

Would be good if the PDFL site added ALL of the County cup results as well. I think some of us are interested to see how other teams are getting on.

I think some of our teams in our league would hold there own in other leagues as for your comment about PDFL site having all results of all county cups and cambs cups etc would be good.

I think the games got on the PDFL site if they are the home games of PDFL teams that get phoned in. If you are away they don't generally get phoned in, so maybe it's up to us to make sure they are.

Well you'll have to concentrate on flying up that league. If you can avoid the flying when you play us it would be much appreciated.

You know how it goes. These things always seem to come back and bite you in the ass one way or another. Players you never rated scoring against you, or goalkeepers you do rate having a bad day. I'm sure your hoping for the latter. I'm sure it will make your lads a bit more up for it. You seem to be up for us without Liam adding to the spice.

Couldn't turn down a keeper of Liams quality. We havn't had a regular keeper since the last time he was signed for us. He's already made some game turning saves. hope there are more to come, he always seemed to keep you in it when we played you, never was sure if it was bad finishing or good goal keeping, what's your new man like ?

Totally agree about liam, i have to say i was absolutely gutted when he decided to leaves us!! It was even harder cos we been mates since we was kids, but it wasn't working for him being with us ( due to a few players ) but we parted company on good terms and remain close friends.

Our new keeper ' Branchy ' is now starting to find his feet in goal for us, to be honest when he first started playing i didn't think that much to him but over the last 2 / 3 games he is getting better n better, he is a young lad and hopefully with mature with age.

We always up for the games agianst you boys as they usually end up being good clean footballing games!!

Surely you mean hard but fair.

Might change my mind on the Coates score. I've handed over the reigns to one of the players who seems to think he has grown some balls and is going to run the team tomorrow.

Benwick 2 v 4 Coates

Yea something like that........

surely not liam??????.... I find that most players think they can run the team better than there managers, thing is i have offered on several occassions for any of my lads to take over, but they end up turning it down.

Bratts, hope you are not shirking your responsibilities, not only at work!!! but now as a manager! having said that, they probably all could do better than you at the mo (only joking! good luck for tomorrow, but make sure that you look after the pack house!!!!)
