Having been made first team manager I shall obviously be taking alot of the reserves with me to the first team along with the few handy Prem signings that have been made. Im not sure how strong the reserves are going to be now but...

I would like to thank the combination lads for the banter and hope that the new reserve team manger (which I think is going to be the old first team manager) continues to move them forward in the way they have done so quickly this season.

We have a tough task of turning around the fortunes of the first team who are currently bottom but, Im sure with the lads we have that can be done!

Cheers Spec! Myself along with the rest of the club have joint aspirations of getting them to the Premier Division. I will enjoy the challenge... its a little less predictable. Glory was always going to come our way in the Combi league :lol:

We start this weekend in at the deep end, qtr-finals of the cup against a Boston side followed by Alconbury first team the next, great start but its part n parcel of the fun aye!

well all i ve got 2 say to that lee is u need 2 read the rule book b4 talking to other clubs players! think u know what im on about, very low what u have done and offered a certain psl player!!!,

if u want 2 waste money on players i hear you can get ian edge and mark paul from yaxley for £300 a week.

I was approached (text) and asked if I have any job vacancys at my firm pure and simple. Many witnesses who were there when the texts came through rest was put to me. As for doing things for players!

Its amateur football Prem/Div 1/Div2/Combi couldnt care s**t who plays for me, dont change my life in anyway. I have alot of respect for you Al and know the work you do for club and footy but if you feel ive been out of line you should have rang me I could have gave you full account.

1 player don't make a team at psl. we cud lose any player and still be strong.

for first time in years i think first team is quite strong , def stronger than reserves , just how it should be . not sayin the res aint strong at all... but reality please jb.

better balance and team spirit eddie and any one of the res's could do a good job with the firsts(probably better in some cases but i'm not getting in to that!lol). oh and we can score more than one goal a game :lol:

well i would disagree. yes most could do a job , dont mean they would improve side though hey . well done against the northants team anyway .

as for 1 goal a game... 1st teams tend to play better defenders. think we have won 7 nil this season .

hows the penaltys this season anyway? ... hope it dont go to a shoot out tom . lol

Like I said I was approached by someone for a job.

Why would I need to pick up the phone to you? Not usual practice for a business to request a weekend football clubs approval before a job interview? No offer in exchange for playing! A job in return for a favor (this case playing football) would still be a bribe and not fair play to anyone!

Way I see it, is that if someone wants to play somewhere why begrudge that to them or anyone else unless they owe you something? Its only football for fun like you say.

Dont ever recall saying psl were a 1 man team? In fact when we played I outlined the fact of how good your squad was and have stated if you were not there or thereabouts something would be wrong. Good luck to your campaign even now Im still routing for yas! :lol:

you can have who you like from PSL i aint bothered as most have found out in the past, (myself included) you can't do any favours 4 any of the top players in this league as they never give 100% back they just become a burden on you and in it 2 get what they can from your pocket..
