Watched the game on sat ,and what a game it was between two of the cities leading sides .
Perkins Dominated the 1st half and seemed to over run Ortonians ,put it goals that count and that is what ortonians do well they score goals and it was a cracker form Bainsey ,perkins will feel they had a penalty turned down but most people thought it was a dive .
2nd half was a joy to behold ortonians just stepped it up a gear and ripped perkins apart in a ten minute blast Bains ,leftley ,ayres, kay all outstanding .

Basically when you look at it on paper the they are a well matched sides bit on the pitch they are a world apart .

Idont even like ortonians but even i have to admit they are one hell of side

Thanks Charlie - would be interested in why you don't like us - no I wouldn't - scrap that - stupid question.

Not a bad summary, except that Perkins had a lot of possession in midfield 1st half, but Beeney did not have to make a single save, though I did notice him put his book down at 1 stage!

You missed out Mcpartlin in your list of players who did well for us, as I felt that it was his introduction at half time that stopped the midfield dominance Perkins had in the first 45 minutes and gave us a platform to gain the ascendency.

Hope Perkins bounce back and beating Alconbury in the cup this Saturday should make Gino smile again (and I won't be too upset either!)

Gino is such a great guy and he derserves better for the amount of effort he gives to soccer. I just hope he wins on Saturday and wot the hell makes it all the way to the final. It will be some night in the bar if he wins the cup
