anything rob windle devised camt be good!

in all fairness taking players off is a system that works really well in a 7 a side game but in an 11 a side game it wouldn't be so good. after extra time then making players work even harder will just result in more injuries and rash, dangerous tackles. and with fatigue being a serious factor in modern football that could lead to problems. as for lower league clubs with very small squads it could be disasterous as they already suffer with the loss of players due to cup competitions in normal circumstances.

From reading the article it only mentions the World Cup finals and major tournaments are the usual places for trialling new ideas (golden goal, silver goal etc). If it worked well i presume they would try and introduce it to the top levels, but would they introduce it at amateur level? :soo:

Undecided whether i agree or not. I do think that there should be an alternative to penalties but not so sure whether this is it. There's only a few cards on the table to choose from when it comes to stalemate after 120 minutes.
