Whats the difference between the Junior Cup and Minor Cup? I see some Combi Div 2 teams are in the Junior Cup and the rest are in the Minor.

Cham1

Basically the Junior is for Combination Division One sides plus upto eight Division One sides. The remaining sides compete in the Minor Cup. The split is based on the finishing position last season in the same that entry to The Senior and Challenge Cups.

no Mark its the cup remember! we were fav 2 beat deeping in the semis last season but on the day luck was with them.

nice 2 c 7 of the 8 sides r from the prem.

whittlesey,perkins, moulton, psl 2-1 j/fav
alconbury 3-1
oundle 5-1
bels 7-1
netherton 10-1

any 2 of the above 4 favs wil be in the final unless moulton/whittlesey perkins or psl meet in the semis should 3 of them get there .

then again perkins and psl might lose, i love the cup as its always there 2 upset the big boys.

good luck 2 all.

More realistic odds I would say are

Moulton 5/4
PSL 6/4
Whittlesey 5/2
Alconbury 7/2
Perkins 4/1
Oundle 6/1
Netherton 10/1
Stamford Bels 16/1

Win only of course

Those odds are very tight Spec, i think

Moulton and Psl 7/4

Whittlesey and Perkins 4/1

Alconbury 6/1

Oundle 9/1

Netherton 12/1

Stamford Bels 25/1

You have to make the book around the top two as they have been the most consistent thus far, but obviously any team bar Stamford Bels can win it. What a good season this has turned out to be again, very competitive and plenty of good banter! Even Big Jan is back in management which is great to see.

Great draw for perkins ansd PSL!! too close to call who gonna progress to the final as moulton vs whittlesey all depends who available at the time of the game!!

Feel PSL favourites and with strikeforce they have and Ben due back in a coulple of weeks they will never get a better chance to complete a famous double of league and cup!!

Now I know Al/Tom playing down there chances and the old tail of one game at a time is constantly heard but I think this could be there year and really only them can lose it although moulton will run them close!!

Perkins are good nough to beat anyone on there day and Al/Gino doing a good job but lack consistency across the team and could be there downfall but i would love to see them win it!!

Cup looks good this year and hopefully have a true final and not like last year when 2 poor teams were there through whatever reasons!!

I wonder if their's a problem.

Or maybe no one could give a s@it. Thought it might create a little interest with some ex-prem pot hunters in the cups. Maybe they are has beens and no one could give a s@it about them either.
