lack of interest in sunday afternoon football i hear, real shame really but maybe some sat managers might be pleased as maybe 3 games in a weekend is a bit much.

how about slimming it down a league and losing a cup?

Dont really effect Saturday managers does it? Its more the other way around, for example if a player gets injured on a Saturday that would affect the Sunday sides but, if it happens on an afternoon it dont really affect the Sat sides (as much) with a longer resting period.

Its not that its slimming its more that the leagues were not very big last season so in someway is an expansion request (as such).

At worst it would be slimmed down to two larger leagues (but still keeping the cups - gives more games to the clubs)

The AGM is next Wednesday so hopefully it will be cleared up by then and we can keep the current 3 Divisions and strengthen with more clubs.

agreed, more recovery time for the following week, BUT the added possibility of injury, bookings and suspensions, not knocking the afternoon league as i have played in it myself, but top sat players do get targeted by the beer monsters in this league. think it will be hard to find more teams so maybe 2 bigger div's is the answer.
