Tommy Trophy

Quite a difficult subject, and I have only looked at players we have faced this season (unfortunately does not include any Hotpoint players as I missed the draw with them and previous game was a win for us very early in the season, plus they know they are all decent)
Goalkeeper: either of the lads from Leverington or Pinchbeck (senile dementure creeping in - can't remember either's name)
Defence: Richard Cooke (Moulton), Tim Quy (Crowland), Steve Thompson (Parson Drove)
Midfield: Gary Butterworth (Whittlesey), Ricky Speechley (Whittlesey), Liam Southgate (Crowland), Lee Harbour (Perkins)
Forwards: Dwaine Rankin (PSL), George Goodayle (Whittlesey), Andy Sayers (Uppingham)
Subs: Wayne Morton (Parson Drove), Malcolm Duff (Stamford Bells), Joe Duffy (PSL), Gibbs (Alconbury)
Goalkeeper: Dave Chapman or Donovan Stone (both Crowland) both inspired against us and I called it after both draws that they would cost us the league and unfortunately I was right !!
Defenders: Eddie Patten (Ortonians) Steve Thompson (Parson Drove) Tim Quy (Crowland)
Midfield: Turvey (Wimblington) Nigel Steadman (Moulton) Brett Bellamy (PSL) Paul Shafer (Parson Drove) Liam Southgate (Crowland)
Forwards: Tommy Treacher (Moulton) Gavin Posey (Pinchbeck)
Subs: Jason Bohonis (Alconbury) Gibbs (Alconbury) Ricky Speechley (Whittlesey and only sub because of discipline !)

Posey was close to mine as well - Treacher would have been on ability but got himself sent off in the first game against us. Bratt Bellamy is a "Marmite" player who seems to provoke extreme opinions either way. Absolutely no doubting his extraordinary ability, but I would question if he is someone who will ever end up with a drawer full of medals?

I believe that this subject is probably harder than last season as alot of players have moved on or have not fulfilled there potential which they had from last season.
