the season is almost ended (has for some teams!)..
A few still to play for though, so any predictions this weekend??
Div 2, 3 and 4 could go to different teams!
West Town v Woodston Dynamos Seniors 2-2
Div 3
The Star Inn Fc v Peterborough North End 4 - 1
Div 4
Ebeneezers Fc v Hampton Fc 3 - 2
Emap Active v Limetree Utr Res 2 - 1
Fusion Fc v Angel Inn 2 - 4
Halcyon Fc v Protelo Fc 1 - 1
The Brewery Tap Fc v Royal Mail Ayl 1 - 2
Emap and Royal Mail to make Div 4 interesting (hopefully) by beating the top 2
i think you are right guys i believe the limetree res's are seriously understrength on sunday so it looks good for you. as for the brewery tap they have seriously overperformed so far this season and have freefalled through some pretty poor divisions over the past few seasons and have finally found their level.if they stay in this league i predict they will be mid table at best and if they go up i suspect they'll come straight back down!
pity you guys took a while to get some consistency this season as i expect you would've been neck and neck with the limetree coming to the end of the season. it pains me to say but your season seemed to take off when you got hyypia on board(dont be mentioning that comment next time i see you hyypia!!)
Wow, was that a compliment JB??!! Good job i was sitting down when i read that!! Appreciate the senitment. I reckon it's just coincidental that my arrival spurned an 8 or 9 match unbeaten run (i haven't lost in an Emap shirt yet and i don't intend to start this Sunday). Extra rivalry involved for me personally, for obvious reasons. Hopefully we can get the 3 points
Mainly gutted that i can't play in Emap's cup final 'cos i'm cup tied for playing for LT earlier in the season at FC Raunds. Physio will have to do i suppose
how ironic that the disasterous season that the limetree 1st team have had this season involved you getting beaten on pens by this years n'hants cup finalists!!
sums the limetrees luck up this year and i know where you're coming from regarding getting a result :ndg:

Emaps run started a few games before Hypia joined us, although he has added to the overall strength of the squad obviously...
I think its 12 or 13 unbeaten and Hypia joined about 9 games ago but has only played in 6 of those (less than 50% of the winning run!!) as he's been cup tied!
Yeah I reckon you're right though if we'd have had a better start we'd have been up there with Limetree but we lost our keeper at the start of the season plus the defence was very unsettled, brought a few in after 5 or 6 games and we've looked half decent since.... was a good game against Limetree early on at their place when they sneaked a 2-1 win with the last kick of the game after an error from our defence... they celebrated like they'd won the cup and fair play to em they all admitted it was a tough game!
Should be a good one Sunday but like Limetree we are also understrength... no strikers and a key midfielder missing so it should be a good test of each squad, saying that Limetree have whats left of their 1st team to call on so it'll be a tough one..
B Tap were well cynical in our last game when they were losing and looked very average to be honest, I think they'll go up as i rekon they'll do 5 leagues of 9 or so next year and that'll mean 4 go up from our league, maybe Limetree, Emap, B Tap and Hampton???? with the top 2 skipping up 2 leagues even???
anyway just glad to be in a division with meaningful games still left to play at this stage plus a final at the end.... good luck to all Sunday!
