IN MY OPINION the PSMFL had a great opportunity to bring back a little respect to themselves when their secretary Mr Nick Titman offered his resignation at their last meeting. This followed an incident where, in his usual bully in a china shop way, the above mentioned person spouted off to all and sundry that he was taking legal action against myself and a.n.other regarding comments we had made on this website. Mr a.n.other was threatened with his employees being told about his actions (though what the f*** that has to do with them I don't know) and the Northants FA were also copied in on the email along with the PSMFL. I am still waiting to hear from him personally as he says he doesn't know who I am.
Now I'm not bigging myself up here at all but there is a picture of me on this website, most people know I'm the Hotpoint manager and my full name is mentioned every Tuesday in the ET so if you read this Mr Titman you have my permission to contact the Hotpoint Secretary and get my details any time you like.
After receiving the above mentioned emails both the Northants FA and the PSMFL distanced themselves immediately from the lovable secretary and wanted nothing to do with it (and quite rightly so).
My point to this is why wasn't his resignation accepted, he has acted in a totally disrespectful manner to several people and IN MY OPINION should have paid with his job as this was the vengance he was seeking from Mr a.n.other.
Am I correct in thinking that the PSMFL condone his actions and agree with the route and actions he took, if so it's a very sad time for Sunday Morning Football with people like that running the show.
trying to mess with a man's livelyhood is a very naughty thing to do.. very very low. and your easy enough to find spec, after 5 on a saturday, hoypoint club, your the fit looking one with a few bacardi and cokes in front of him!!

Sounds like he knew they wouldnt accept the offer to resign? old boys sticking together n all that?
A great chance was missed by the PSMFL there to make a positive change for the future,
and surely not accepting his resignation sort of condones what he did???
Solicitors and emailing the PSMFL and NFA etc and going after someone via their employer is poor form indeed,
sounds like a very serious matter for the PSMFL Secretary to involved with....
DOES ANYONE ON THE PSMFL READ THIS???
WHAT HAVE YOU LOT TO SAY IN DEFENCE OF SEEMINGLY CONDONING IT???
I suppose they'll all sweep it under the carpet and pretend nothing happened....?
Be interesting at the next Sunday Morn AGM to see if it's mentioned and to see if they maintain Spec and Mr a.n.other were at fault and they are squeeky clean etc etc.... :soo:

Lets get this into per(Spec)tive here.....
I understand it that the PSMFL Secretary took offence to what had been said about him on this site
and threatened people (this site included) with legal action?
But he then ended up offering his resignation to the PSMFL over the whole affair??
I dont think the site and people that run it have anything to worry about at all...
Sounds like he was just ****ed off at what had been said and he made a big noise till it stopped,
but somehow cocked that up and had to back track with an offer to resign that wasn't accepted??
Sounds like a fawlty towers episode or something...
I reckon the PSMFL are wishing the whole affair didn't happen and will want to sweep it under the carpet ASAP...
This site does a great job in letting us all air our views, long may it continue!

In fairness, I run the site and am legally "the owner" and Mr Titman never at any point threatened any action against me nor did he make any threat against the site to me.

sounds all to serious to me . . . i think there should be a warning on the fron page sayin if ur a person who takes offense easily then please dont go any further , therfore u cover ur back .
for f sake do some people like to have arguements for the sake of it, we all have opinions . its footie at the end of the day and doesnt sound like some people enjoy it too much . my philosophy is dont do something u dont enjoy . i dont enjoy **** sarnies for lunch so wont be eating them

It was a tough 1st half which ended 0-0, we were kicking into a strong headwind and the opposition were a big physical side.. Was well chuffed to go in level and new we were favourites to push on from there.
We went 1 up early in the second - cross/shot from 40 yards caught the wind and went in off the post then their keeper.
1-1 from a corner (always coming from a side with 7 or 8 lads over 6FT)
2-1 shortly after, our Captain neat one-two and rifled into the top corner from 15 yards...
3-1 with our forward rounding the keeper and slotting into an empty net..
That was it won until the ref (knew the opposition well) gave them a free kick for our keeper holding the ball for 6 seconds (is that rule still going?), they hit a shot at our defenders hand which wasnt raised and he gave a pen... our keeper saved it but we were all so busy celebrating we forgot to follow it in.. they scored from the re-bound.
we played out the last 2 minutes and were worthy winners! :beer: :beer: :beer:
Lets hope all 3 P'boro teams can bring home the Silverware...
Emap face Northampton St Margarets Youth in the final.. reckon we'll be slight favourites but in a final it's who wants it more on the day!

Why don't you bunch of poofs (in my opinion) use this thread for what it was written for and try and save your Sunday Morning Football instead of going on about a load of nonsense, bloody college graduates.

yeah has gone off on a tangent ,i responded to one question if thats me being a poof then watch ur ass, i never started the tangent , (can i sue the site even if he put its his opinion?).... said my piece on the matter but seems like some of the people in charge of the sunday game like to read wots on the site but not comment on affairs.
thats all in my opinion of course
