Somehow we got beat by Coopers today 4-3 after outplaying them for large parts of the game, we gifted them 2 goals and another they kicked out of our keepers hands, was a great game to watch though..
Theyll surely win their Sunday PM league with Mark Paul and Ian Edge playing for them, they were saying they played for PNS yesterday along with Ant Thomas and beat Wisbech 4-1 or something, Tommy been busy with his chequebook there perhaps? great signings as they looked quality on the park..
get ready for WW3 when Coopers face AK11 next season though hahaha, would hate to be a ref in that one!!!
Any other friendlies this weekend boys?
P'Boro Rovers destroyed Castor on Saturday, they have a decent squad this term so I really hope they can get some well earned success

if those boys are in Div 2 Sunday PM league they'll walk it providing they get the same squad lining up every week!!
Cant wait for the Bauer v L Westwood games mate, always admired your boys support and wanted to be a part of those games - beers after for sure Joe!!
Sean we lost because Coopers took their chances and we didn't. Plenty of positives though, we tried a lot of new lads and changed the line - up a lot but we still managed to play a lot of good football, perhaps we should start someshooting and finishing practice at training ? Best of luck to Coopers, looked a fair side.
mark and ian will not play any more than 10% of coopers's sunday pm games and that is a fact.

Yeah Ian (Edge) said at HT if we could finish we'd be 10-1 up, so maybe a little shooting practise tomorrow haha..

surely you personally sean won't need any shooting practise , after seeing that finish against oundle reserves....

Paul, of course I need no practise following my stunning over-head effort against you... but better was to follow the day after when I did actually have a great finish - top coner for Celtic against the Huns - I'll not forget that one in a hurry!
Seriously though, I dont play for FC bauer anymore, the lads we have are streets ahead of me nowadays so I'm a reserve in emergencies only, dont worry though, I'll be on for another overheader on the 16th at your place hahaha, me and Scouse up front final 15/20 mins!!! please put Coggy on for the last 15 so I can see him and Scouse up against each other... how funny would that be? pint after yeah should be fun.. you laying any food on mate?
I thought that Coopers had enough good players in their squad to do well in any Sun PM league - whether Mark & Ian play or not.
Good luck to Jonno, Scholes and their team for the rest of the season.
PS - enjoyed my stint in midfield and felt fit . . . althought I am now also working on my temper with pscyhologists Dr Hamill and Dr Belson PhD!

Mark Paul & Ian Edge have both signed for Racing 252 on Sun Mornings and have said they will be avalible most weeks!!
Great! You should rename your club from Racing 252 to Peterborough Rep!

Once they're wining with PNS and being paid lottery amounts of cash hahaha, I honestly doubt they'll be showing every single week for either 252 or Coopers, the odd games when the fancy takes them, which is fair enough at their level...?
Can you see those lads trotting out for 252 or Coopers on a rainy Sunday in Nov following a 100 mile round trip with PNS the day before? me either!
I suppose that's the risk you take with higher level lads from Saturday footy?
By the way, how many players have 252 got now? some JNE lads went there so I hear and now Edge and Paul, sounds like an all star 11 (or even 22) if they all play every week, good luck lads in every game apart from the Bauer ones of course.

Sean, I will probably already be a marked man against Oundle and would preferably still like to have my legs attached to the bottom half of my body after 90 minutes. If I get through the first 70 minutes unscathed you are certainly giving them even further ammunition by playing me up front against Coggy which could result in me visiting PDH!

hahaha, come on Scouse admit it, you asked for 15 mins up front against Coggy, and that would be a funny one to watch, only one 50/50 winner there though and it's not you!
A couple of Bauer lads are looking forward to this one, myself as an Ex-Oundle res player and big fan of their club.. Scouse as current Oundle Res player.. Mick D and Raph as SSPIO players when they played Oundle Res and had lumps taken from their ankles hahaha, Ben Goodall whose brother plays Oundle 1sts - we're looking forward to it.

Admittedly, I did say I fancied a run out up front although with the thought of a tussle with Coggy I may have to have a re-think! I will do you a deal, Coggy can mark you, and I will let Jock mark me!
