Ok here's the deal,

I work with a guy that organises help in the community from his church, ok before you laugh it off, last year they provided a workforce of over 150 volunteers that transformed the Sue ryder gardens etc...
They are currently looking for community based projects to offer their services too...
It's basically labour they're offering, but 200 or so people expected this year could perhaps make a massive difference to a club/venue or project etc?

Message me or reply on here if you have any SERIOUS thoughts or suggestions..
The way it works is he then puts it forward for consideration by the church and if they deem it helping the community etc they vote and get back to you!

I just thought I'd drop it on here to see if there's any worthy local footballing causes we could put them in touch with?

They cover P'boro, Stamford, March, Whittlesey.

Derek,

Sounds like a worthy cause to me and as discussed I've asked the person who organises it to call you...

Message me on here if he's not been in touch by the end of theweek and I'll remind him (when I spoke to him it sounded as if it's the type of thing they'd be happy to do - fingers crossed.)
