View Full Version : PFA Secretary
Please be advised that I have decided to tender my resignation as Secretary of The Peterborough Football Association council with effect from the end of the current season. Therefore I do not wish to stand for re-election at the Annual General Meeting in June 2006. There are a number of reasons why I have decided that after six years at the helm it is time for a change. However most of these reasons will remain private. Basically I feel that I have taken the Association as far as I can and that now is the time for a new face to build on my time in the position.
Should any persons be interesting in take up this post then please contact me on 01733 705178 for further details. Alternatively by e-mail at peterborough.fa@ntlworld.com
In the meantime I would like to thank all involved in local football for their kind support over the years and wish you all the very best for the future.
Miserable lot aren't they !!!
I don't even play football anymore but, as a local photographer, whenever I work for or with the PFA, I find Mark at the very forefront and his personable, friendly nature makes any work I do a genuine pleasure.
Good luck with whatever you do Mark ....... trust me, they WILL miss you once you're gone :ndg: !!!

Here here Paul, I have known Mark for many years and also know the amount of time & effort he puts into this role, he is a great guy and will be a hard act to follow. Good luck Mark.
Just out of interest, has anyone shown any interest in taking over?
I have had one person show an interest.
I would have thought there be some more interest than that. Altough, cant be the easiest job in the world
Mark would just like to wish you all the best in whatever you do, knowing personally how frustrating and hard administration can be it must take its toll.
But Im sure all visitors to this post will join me and extend our gratitude to you and others alike who work voluntarily to administer our football leagues and competitions. :nwy:
Just out of curiosity you leaving the local game completely Mark?
