Good luck to both JNE and Netherton for this Friday nights final. Hope you lads produce a final that does Sunday Mornings proud, if you both play to your capabilities should be a cracking game. Not sure if I'll be there as I am at a much revered Uncles funeral on Friday Afternoon and Hopefully we will give him a good send off. In fact in his time he was a sporting personality, a very very good amateur boxer, one of three fine boxing brothers.R.I.P. Tony, have fun with Ray and Aubers :nwy:united again.

Thanks for all the thoughts lads. So who is going to win tomorrow night, very tight, think JNE might just do it, have been wrong in most of my predictions so far.

JNE will need to play better than they did v deeping if they are to win tonight, thats not knocking jne at all, they had a good strong side v deeping n were a little lucky to hang on at the end. But regardless of that they got through to the final and i fancy them to knick it 2-1. Good luck both sides.

Not gonna predict the score as don't wanna jinx us!!

Think it will be tight and agree to some extent with Bratts that we will have to perform better as a team tonight as Netherton are very good, although thought we defended well last week vs deeping and but for me giving the pen away (ball to hand) we were pretty comfortable!

Will be a good game as both sides got some players with great ability and never a uinch given between us. Whoever produces that bit of quality or less mistakes will win! Win or lose we are all out after as our last game together. Should be a good crowd also.

Got no team next year as redundant so am looking for a good personal performance to put me in the shop window!! ha ha

Hoops - Lick my B***s - you should cheer us on like I do the oxcart, sorry westwood!!

Best wishes today mick - Hope you send uncle off in style!!

It is 6:30 ko.

But it is NOT at chestnut avenue.

The game is being played at a new pitch in Yaxley.
I believe the pitch is in the Ferndale estate in Yaxley.

Yeah I work opposite Julian Spalding (linked with JNE) and he has just rang Scott..
Scott is taking JNE to Chestnut Ave and he's saying the league confirmed this today with him???
crossed wires Gareth but maybe best to get on the blower to Richard/Keith etc and confirm it mate?

It's DEFO at Chestnut Avenue lads...
Committee member just confirmed that with me directly - simple case of crossed wires I think, so apologies all round from the PSMFL. (kept you all on your toes didn't it hahaha)

Should be a cracking game and a cracking finale for a great club in JNE.

Just been informed that Jubilee beat Netherton 5-2 with bainsey gettin a hatrick!

JNE did indeed win an entertaining game 5-2, and put in a mature performance - good to see them finally emerge from the shadow of the mighty Oak just as they are packing in!

Netherton actualy edged the first half and were 1-0 up at half-time, before boy wonder got to work. He hardly had a kick first half but his imperfect hat-trick of slice, mis-hit and cross swung the game.

Foggy, hard for me to say this - thought you had a very good game and kept Abass quiet (there I have said it!)

Pitch was in great nick given the number of games it has taken and credit to Lawrence for his hard work.

Netherton gave up rather tamely after going behind, given the amount of quality they had on the pitch, but County champions is not a bad season is it?

i heard we folded quicker than being delt a 7 2 off suit in a game of poker . . .that aint no netherton spirit . could only watch the first half . bit gutted but well done to jne . maybe the substitutes swang it there way . heard that a few of our players got subbed for people who should never make the team sheet . brads who is injured and coupe who couldnt walk before the game .

yeah not bad tommy , can still do the double with the pfa added to it . need to show some bouncebackability on sunday .

Thank you Mr Cooper, nice to hear you say that - Whats your thoughts Mr Bratts - Abbas who?? Maybe abs should not slag other teams off at half time and players in particular as we heard it and fired us/me up even more! Along with Shakes comments to me at half time about marking abbas and the fact that he won some headers - what he expect - abs is a good player!

As for the game, thought in the end we thoroughly deserved it and could have won by more! Bainesy 3 goals means more headlines 4 boy wonder

Netherton were very poor in terms of spirit and fight something which they will need plenty of tomorrow against a fired up westwood although some of the remarks from players after the game makes me wonder if they can recover!

Great night out after with all players having a drink and a laugh with a browny jig to boot! Great way to bow out and a big thank you to all the players as been a pleasure to play with you all! But a big thank you to Shakie and his family as without them we would not have been a team at all

Sad it all over but a fitting end!:)

JNE till I die !!

What a cheek Tommy, emerging from the shadow of the mighty oak, remind me how many times did they beat the Nags in a cup final, did they win the treble ? JNE not in anyones shadow, The Mighty Oak like the Nags all part of history now
