A heard from somone at the game between Hotpoint and Woodlands that the Prem boys looked lost up front with out old Mr faithfull up there ( Mr Goodayle) can one player make that much difference, or was it just a poor game for the prem boys . Allso heard that the keeper for Hotpoint put in a David James performance ( PLAYER LIKE A DONKEY )

Well unless Mr Goodayle has got all the assists this season, that clearly can't be the case 'cos im pretty sure Favell has got top goalscorer at Hotpoint currently and Goodayle was suspended for a number of games at the start of the season. One player never makes a team and most of the players at Hotpoint would be a healthy asset to any Prem side

Of course we looked lost up front, I had 4 strikers missing !!!
Bad day at the office for us Saturday and just one of those days, not commenting on the player in question.

One player does not make a difference but can make an impact. George isa good player and would have been missed. From what i heard spec your side did not turn upfirst half!! and was then to late!!

Started ok Foggy we went 1 up !! After that it was just a calamity of errors for half hour, cracking finishes from the Woodland boys though, at least we came out second half at 4-1 down and had a go, but when you have a 3 goal advantage you just put everyone behind the ball like they did and hold on, fair play to them.

Read your comments in the Et Spec and you are quite right as you said a few weeks ago on this site
Spec said then: I have a massive advantage here as we approach the final third of the season, we are in with a good shout of the league and are in the county cup quarter final, now you tell me that would any player who cares about his team, or team mates should I say, leave this club while we are in such a good position ?? No they wouldn't, so anybody who does leave will be doing it for their own selfish ego and quite frankly I wouldn't want them at my club if that were the case because that sort of attitude wins teams nothing.
And obviously George was already on his way before Saturday's cup exit.

There you go then Chris, I am not commenting on any of this yet mate because the more info that is coming out of this the more material there will be for a relaunch of that great programme Jackanory.

one player in a team does make a difference, especially when there match winners and con create something out of nothing. which tends to be your strikers :soo: :soo: :soo:

Although I don't believe that one player makes a team its great to see George back with the lads and a massive boost to the clubs youngsters as well, nice one Georgie.
Pity you did'nt have it in you Spec to give the ok before the Thursday deadline, thought you were a bigger man than that, - thought your cry babies were all in the reserves!
As for you CJ bout time you engaged your brain and got the facts before opening your mouth, although probably bit much to ask of you, if past history is anything to go by!
Is it too much to ask that you concentrate on your own club and keep your nose and unwelcome comments, re other teams affairs and/or their players, to yourself?

Bluestar Perhaps you should read my post again or get someone to read it to you. All I did was repeat Specs comments from some time ago and point out that George was already leaving before the cup-tie.
You probably said the same when george left you after winning the title

Good luck to you Blue Star but why did George leave in the first place after winning league

Morning Carrots mate, you probably need to be asking Spec that question, seeing as he is collecting material for a Jackanory story!
Better still ask Judgy he seems to know more about whats going on in our club than we do

seams as though everybody knows whats happening, what a rise that will give whittlesey and by looking at the table they seam to have climbed a few places of late, must of had some results. lets hope they can keep the good work going and be challanging next season. on checking the et tonight looks like there reserves hit a few weekend to :gun:

Can't see what it has to do with me Bluestar, you should just be glad George has come back to you and leave it at that.
