Who will be Champions ?

Must be the closest finish for years in the Prem and Div 1. In the Prem perm any one from three, Lord Burghley, Netherton and Jubilee N.E. all possible winners. Lord Burghley just two games left, both away I think, against 252 and Netherton. Jubilee have Netherton, Fratelli's and Parkside I think. Netherton and Jubilee both involved in two domestic cups and Netherton still in County Cup. Possible treble for Lord Burghley and Quadruple for Netherton. Personally still think Jubilee for the league as that is all they can win and should be well focussed for it. Cups will be interesting and could be anyones. Div 1 race between Limetree and Mail, Limetree having slight edge after last Sunday? All good competition.

I'd lean toward JNE for the Prem with Netherton a very close 2nd and LB close 3rd, a very tight call though and agree it's good competition.
Limetree and R Mail is a tough one also, I'll go with Mail on that one by a whisker! but it could be decided by the PSMFL decision on what to do with Mail after they failed to play their game over Easter weekend, I hear Hemps failed to show with the kit and the ref had to call it off - I'm pretty sure that could carry a minus 3 points (going on previous history) and if that happens then Limetree have the upper hand and I'd go with them.... how gutting if they lose it becasue of that? I hope not for Hemps sake!


As for comps - best of luck Netherton in the NFA cup, really hope they win it.

Will be very close lads but hopefully we will just nick it! Feel we are just seeing out the season and with Shakie confirming on sunday he will not carry on next year (hope you don't mind me saying shakes) we really want to win it for him!!!

Netherton got a lot of games to play and feel it will be hard to win all of them but a cup treble is not out of the question.

As for LB, think they are a poor side to be honest and shows the lack of depth in the prem, We beat them 8-0 and 4.1 and lost in the cup despite playing the game with 9 men for 50 mins!! Bar Thomo who is decent!

As for Div 1, I think hempo more interested in POSH than mail!! Limetree for me!

JNE take from someone whose been in the big league and won it quite a few times, you were favourites before any game being called off, you could only lose the league if you get my drift.

As for 'little leagues' nice try mate I'm sure I don't need to remind you that last season I predicted L Burghley (winners of the little league last term) would be up there in the prem and you slated me saying 'I knew nothing about local footy' and yet, here they are pushing for the title.
I think it shows your lack of understanding/knowledge of life outside of the Prem more than my lack of it....

Anyway we enjoyed our 3-3 pre-season against you boys and the tough battle 2-0 loss in the cup, maybe you're right we aint ready yet! shame you wont be there when we are!!!
